Entrepreneurs Gather to Network, Inspire, Engage and Educate Each Other

Donteacia Seymour, President and CEO of the Founders Brunch sent out a call to all entrepreneurs, Founders and CEOs of small businesses to attend a unique networking event. One attendance pre-requisite asked participates to complete an application detailing how the Founders Brunch could expand their business. “Entrepreneurs are the new American superhero, and everyone wants to be one. What most don’t know is the grit and hard work it takes to become and remain a successful entrepreneur,” said Donteacia. The Founders Brunch are individuals who participate in Start Up Jax, JaxCOE, Profile Gorilla and The Seymore Group, a coalition that has been brewing to assist the start up community. Over 70 entrepreneurs assembled at the Karpeles Museum for dialogue, brunch, networking and the opportunity to hear and meet speaker, Judy Robinett, the author of How to Be a Power Connector: The 5+50+150 Rule. The book provides instant, effective strategies for meeting the people you need to know and bonding with them fast to further your goals and theirs. Robinett is a business thought leader who is known as “the woman with the titanium digital Rolodex.” The brunch also provided an opportunity for attendees to ‘fast pitch’ professionally evaluated. The fast pitch represents a five minute verbal opportunity to stress the potential and viability of your business. The next Founder’s Brunch is scheduled for April 17th.
