Dream Girls Event Focuses on Safety and Support Services

The “Just A Girl With A Dream: Bags & Bangles” event was held over the weekend at the AMG Uptown Salon. The Just A Girl With A Dream is a nonprofit organization founded by Tabitha Robinson whose mission is to provide supportive services and opportunities to women and girls. The Bags and Bangles event mission is to assist women with dealing with obstacles that keep them from fulfilling their dreams. Over 60 participants listened to a panel discussion that included a panel of Jacksonville Sheriff Officers who responded to guests important safety questions. The panel also gave insight to guest’s important questions concerning men’s views on dating, marriage, infidelity and communications.
