Just as Newsmax was the first cable-television network to declare Donald Trump the next president of the United Stares, this Newsmax space was among the first to predict the outcome just days before the election:
“Don’t be surprised if Trump gets the largest number of Black and Hispanic votes for a Republican in U.S. history, leading to an Electoral College landslide, while gaining an historic majority of the popular vote.”
Vice President Kamala Harris, her allies in the mainstream media, her buddies: the Obamas, Opray Winfrey, and numerous entertainers like Beyoncé, led Democrats to a historic defeat.
As has been reported, 12% of Black voters cast ballots for Trump in 2024, compared with just 8% eight years earlier.
The Black vote, especially Black men, was most significant.
In Wisconsin, Trump more than doubled his support among Black voters, securing roughly 20% of their votes.
In the critical swing state of North Carolina, Trump won about 20% of Black men and 11% of the overall black vote.
In Pennsylvania, he won 17% overall and 23% among Black men, and in Georgia, he claimed 25% of Black male voters.
Trump got 38% of Asian and 45% of Latino votes, including 54% of Latino men.
Trump saw a whopping 50% increase in his support among Jewish voters in New York.
Roughly 45% of New York State voters who identify as Jewish cast their votes for Trump — compared to just 30% who chose him as their candidate in 2020.
The major problem with the Harris campaign was that it was built on a bed of elitist lies laced with vitriolic attacks accusing Trump and his supporters of being fascists, garbage, and Nazi sympathizers that sorely underestimated the intelligence of American voters who rejected its fabrications.
For example, Trump’s appointment of Susie Wiles as his chief of staff, naming Gov. Kristie Noem, R-S.D., secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), former Democratic Hawaii congresswoman-turned Trump supporter Tulsi Gabbard as his pick to be director of national intelligence, and campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt to serve as his White House press secretary were huge black eyes and a slap in the face to Harris and her leading surrogate Mark Cuban who said about Trump:
” . . . that you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever. It’s just that simple. They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them . . . ”
If Cuban’s comments were not a bad enough insult, respectable media sources reported that Harris paid millions to celebrities, including Opray Winfrey, to appear with and endorse her at staged “swing-state concerts” rallies. Winfrey denies any personal fees, saying that any were for her company’s costs for the event.
Please let’s be honest.
The Harris campaign tried to prop up an empty suit DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) presidential candidate with no substance or authenticity who had little if any history or interest in identifying and supporting issues related to Blacks or minorities.
She was seen for what she was — a total fraud and rightfully rejected!
It was encouraging to see significant numbers of Blacks and Hispanics vote for the best interest of their families rather than for the Democratic party mandate of voting based on skin color.
A big loser in the election was the mainstream media who served as Harris’ de facto campaign manager.
According to Rich Noyes of the respected Media Research Center, broadcast evening news coverage of the candidates was the “most wildly imbalanced in history, favoring Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris over former Republican President Donald Trump by the greatest margin ever recorded . . . ”
The performance of the major media in this presidential campaign was disgraceful.
That’s why the mass media registers record low trust by Americans to report the news fairly and accurately: For the third consecutive year, more U.S. adult have no trust at all in the media (36%) than trust it a great deal or fair amount.
The other big losers in this election were the RINOS — “Republicans in Name Only” —who defected to support Harris.
As noted in this space, they betrayed conservative values. They, like the Democratic establishment, were and are totally out of touch with average Americans.
A word of caution to Republicans: Don’t delude yourselves on the increases in Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Jewish voters — most of those votes were for Trump, and not for the GOP.
