Riverview Park Service Day

Riverview Park Service Day | October 6 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Join St. Johns Riverkeeper for our monthly day of service at the lovely Riverview Park on the Trout River. As Riverview Park’s Official Park Stewards, this is part of an ongoing effort to improve and maintain this important community resource connecting locals to our river on Jacksonville’s northside.

Volunteers can expect to collect litter, clear trails, catalog and/or remove invasive plants, and more as needed! Cleanup bags, gloves and grabbers will be provided.

Useful Items to Bring:
– FULL reusable water bottle
– Closed-toe shoes (Required. We HIGHLY recommend wearing rain boots! This park is prone to flooding and general sogginess.)
– Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
– Bug spray
– Work/gardening gloves (cleanup gloves will be provided)
– Small garden tools (trowels, shovels, etc.)

Join us for our quarterly cleanup around Moncrief Creek at Eartha’s Farm & Market! This is part of an ongoing effort to improve and maintain this important community resource connecting locals to fresh and healthy foods on Jacksonville’s northside.
