Changing the Story of Race in Jacksonville

OneJax Race in Jacksonville Dialogue – The OneJax Institute at the University of North Florida will present “Changing the Story of Race in Jacksonville”The program is part of the Institute’s Project Breakthrough series and will continue the discussion of WJCT’s “Race in the River City” town hall. Nina Waters, Community Foundation president, and Brenda Priestly Jackson and Linda Lanier, Project Breakthrough alumni, will lead the discussion of race and justice, allowing First Coast residents to hear perspectives of others in the community. This conversation aims to dismantle the structures of racial disparities and build bridges for understanding.
