Military Affairs and Veterans Department to Provide Free Tax service to Veterans and their Spouses

 Starting today, The City of Jacksonville’s Military Affairs and Veterans Department will offer free tax services to Veterans and/or their spouses. These services will be available by appointment only, ensuring that Veterans receive personalized assistance with their tax filings. DD-214 and/or Veteran status ID is required to take advantage of this service.

This initiative aims to provide Veterans and/or their spouses with essential tax services, helping them navigate the complexities of tax preparation with ease. We are committed to supporting our Veterans and ensuring they have access to the resources they deserve.

  • First Appointment: 9:00 AM
  • Last Appointment: 2:00 PM

All appointments will take place at Military Affairs and Veterans Department Office inside City Hall, 117 W. Duval Street, Suite 175 Jacksonville, FL 32202
