The Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series will return February 10th to February 19th, to Fort Mose Historic State Park, 15 Fort Mose Trail, St. Augustine, the site of the first legally sanctioned free African settlement. Featuring “Empress of Soul,” Gladys Knight, gospel treasure Mavis Staples, bandleader Christian McBride’s New Jawn, the “future of blues” Mississippi-born, guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, eclectic folk singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Rhiannon Giddens and multi-instrumentalist Valerie June.
