Florida Blue offering Caregiver Resource event at Florida Blue Center

Did you know November is National Family Caregivers Month? There are more than 2.3 million family members in Florida who serve as caregivers for their loved ones, providing an estimated 1.6 billion hours of unpaid care each year. And the number increases significantly when you include those caring for children who have challenges. Caregiving often takes a toll on the caregiver’s physical and mental health, as they focus their attention on the individual in need of support, at times at the expense of their own well-being.
Florida Blue is committed to serving both those who need care and their caregivers through a growing offering of forward-thinking tools, networks, and personalized services. We are hosting an event to provide much needed resources to the community.
