Fair Housing Symposium

The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission “Finding Home Sweet Home – 50^th Year of the Fair Housing Act,’ Fair Housing: Understanding Your Rights free workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 14th, at the Jacksonville Public Library Conference Center, 303 N. Laura Street from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  On the agenda will be info on resolving landlord/tenant issues, selecting a realtor, understanding the first-time homebuyers and mortgage lending process, requesting a reasonable accommodation and/or modification and restoring your credit.
