The Durkeeville Historical Society invites you to attend their 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 28th, at 4:30 p.m. at Emanuel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2407 Rev. S.L. Badger Circle. This anniversary represents a journey of dedicated and concerned residents who initiated this noble endeavor in 1998. Their commitment to documenting and protecting our past has woven a tapestry of memories. The Durkeeville community was built in 1937 an is one of the oldest African American communities in North Florida.
