Bob Hayes 25th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Gala

Several members and organizations from Jacksonville and surrounding communities will be honored on Thursday, March 13th, 7 p.m. at the Bob Hayes 25th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Gala, inside Potter’s House International Ministries, 5119 Normandy Blvd., in recognition of their efforts to make a difference in underserved communities. recipients will be recognized with the Making a Difference Community Service Award which will highlight their contributions to many in the community and around the country. Proceeds from the Gala directly benefit the James “Coach” Day Scholarship Fund, which has provided thousands of dollars to students and assisting them in their first year of college. Awardees are: Rey Robinson (Ralph Boston Olympic Spirit Award); Vincent R. Hall, (Principal of William M. Raines High School);  The Making a Difference Community Service Award recipients include: Dr. Richard Danford Jr.( CEO, Jacksonville Urban League); Marjorie Dennis, PGA, Community Relations; Dawn Lopez (former Action News Jax Anchor).
