Dr. Todd Sack is the speaker / Topic: “Adding Climate Change to Your Politics and Your Life”

Dr. Todd Sack is a local expert on climate change and public policy. He speaks and writes nationally and internationally on climate change. He currently serves on the Boards of the Timucuan Parks Foundation, Scenic Jacksonville’s Advisory Board, the Duval County Medical Society Foundation, MOCA Jacksonville, and Physicians for Social Responsibility, which shared in two Nobel Peace Prizes. Dr. Sack is the Executive Director of the My Green Doctor Foundation (www.MyGreenDoctor.org) that assists healthcare offices in more than sixty countries to adopt environmental sustainability and climate change preparedness.  Previously, Dr. Sack chaired the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, served two terms on the Florida Energy Commission where he chaired the Climate Change Advisory Group, and served on JEA’s Clean Power Advisory Group. He is a graduate of Yale College and a gastroenterologist for “We Care at Borland Groover” providing healthcare for the uninsured.
