By Lynn Jones – The unveiling of Florida Black Excellence (FBX) Fest 2024, kick-off announcement jumpstarted the excitement to share a sneak peek into what’s new and what to expect.
Formerly known as the Florida Black Expo, entrepreneur Mincy Pollock is the new face and organizer for the festival. Mincy recently held a press conference proudly unveiling “new face, new place,” as a mantra, while sharing his passion for the event, scheduled for February 8-10, 2024 at Everbank Stadium.
The three days of empowerment will recognize outstanding individuals under 40, Greek marketplace, vendors, concerts, entertainment and a culinary showdown supporting the FBX scholarship fund awards. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to connect with over 400 vendors and 10,000 consumers at the main event festival hall. Marketing executive Dwight Brisbane was all smiles and ready to work for the event destined to be a Black powerhouse success.
“This is a testament to community power. I can’t wait to see how FBX 2024 unfolds – it’s a game-changer for Jacksonville” he said.
