To celebrate the grand opening of Bank OZK branch located at 6072 Youngerman Circle, the staff decided to go big and host a community block party to officially introduce OZK bank to their newest neighbors! On Saturday, September 23, OZK welcomed over 300 guests to the ‘Block Party,’ presented by Visa who were treated to free food trucks, Kona ice treats, live music, inflatable games, face painting and concert ticket giveaways from DJ Easy E and V101.5 radio. Local nonprofits were presence at the ‘Block Party’ to raise awareness of the assistance they offer to Jacksonville residents.
To support these organizations and the community OZK collectively serves, the bank presented a total of $35,000 in donations during the event to the Black Business Investment Fund, the Center for Children’s Rights, Wealth Watchers, and the Florida Small Business Development Center at UNF.
