The 5th Annual Big Hats and Bow Ties Derby Party, a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser for the Johnson Family YMCA, drew a crowd of over 130 patrons to Ovinte’ in the Town Center Mall. Attendees were dressed to impress and watched “Always Dreaming” win the Kentucky Derby on the big-screen TV as they sipped on mint juleps and enjoyed the Spanish street fare. The festive event also featured live entertainment, a best dressed contest and a silent auction. Proceeds from the charitable event benefit the Johnson Family YMCA as part of its ongoing effort to raise scholarship funds and aid the underserved.
