Hailing from St. Mary’s, GA, songwriter and producer Mistaga has perfected his craft with over 20 years of experience. A 34 track juggernaut, ‘Love Lessons’ is the latest album from Mistaga Productions, a confessional exploration of the highs and lows of what love can give, and what it can take. Mistaga, commonly known as Jonathon Jones, Jr. collaborated with AngelFace Entertainment for the inaugural listening party held recently inside D’bo’s Daquiri’s Seafood and Wings in Riverside.
Hundreds of local fans, family and friends from Georgia/Florida county line attended the listening party witnessing the producer, rapper, and songwriter release a style of his own music, featuring a mixture of genres ranging from R&B, Jazz, Hip/Hop, Rap, Pop and Rock. With his desire to succeed he is igniting the First Coast performing at community festivals, local clubs, The Ritz Theater and has auditioned in Atlanta, GA for the Apollo live TV Show. “Music is my life. I make all kinds of music from hiphop music to movie soundtracks. I love working with different people that have different styles because you can put everything together and have a different sound,” said Jones. Continuing his quest to build his fan base on all the social media websites and several music websites, fans are taking notice that he is here to stay and not just another producer trying to make it in the industry without a musical background resume.
