More than 250 special guests gathered at Jacksonville’s historic Karpeles Grand on June 13, to celebrate the wedding of Sonia Belgrave Landrum and Anthony Landrum. The elegant affair, themed “The Power of Love,” marked the culmination of a journey that began in 2012 as educators at Ribault High School.
Officiated by Pastor Charles Freeman III, guests enjoyed Caribbean-inspired cuisine, dancing, and fellowship as they celebrated the couple’s commitment to faith, family, and service. Anthony, a retired U.S. Marine Corps First Sergeant and longtime Marine Corps JROTC instructor at Jean Ribault High School, and Sonia, a respected educator and instructional leader, have dedicated their lives to mentoring and uplifting others. The celebration served as a powerful reminder that love, when rooted in faith and purpose, creates a lasting legacy. Following the celebration, the newlyweds will embark on a Mediterranean honeymoon cruise with stops in Spain, the South of France, and Greece.
