Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens to Celebrate America’s 250th with Free Admission, Family Fun
Event includes live music, artmaking activities, and a special performance by the Sandalwood High School Marching Band
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Following the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens’ popular Summer at the Cummer event series, kids and adults alike will have another opportunity to enjoy free admission and family-friendly fun at the Museum’s America Turns 250 event on Friday, July 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This all-day celebration will include live music from The Committee Band and a special performance by the Sandalwood High School Marching Band. Other activities include free access to the galleries, face painting, lawn games in the Cummer Gardens, artmaking activities, scavenger hunts, and the opportunity to make your own cyanotype print with artist Amanda Rosenblatt.
Recently voted by the Jacksonville community as the best museum, best attraction, and best place to take visitors, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is the perfect place to celebrate our nation’s milestone anniversary.
