The third installment of the “Black Don’t Crack” photo shoot returned to Jacksonville, continuing a now three-year tradition that celebrates beauty, culture, and confidence. Photographer R. Liner of Redburd Images described the vision behind the project: “To display the full beauty of the modern-day Afro-centric woman in her splendor.” The six participants represented a diverse range of professions, including entrepreneurs, a published author, and a nurse—each bringing her own unique presence and story to the lens. The shoot included scenic backdrops throughout Downtown Jacksonville and along Nassau Sound off Heckscher Drive. The phrase “Black Don’t Crack” is widely embraced as a term of endearment, celebrating Black women’s timeless beauty and their remarkable ability to age with grace, resilience, and radiance.
