Gail Carter-Cade has a story to tell. Her resume  includes 15+ years of teaching and 30 years as a stylist. As a mother, entrepreneur, educator, and writer she has firsthand experience on the challenges families face when trying to understand the emotional and mental struggles of another family member’s behavior and learning practices. To document her journey, she authored her book, “Uplifting The Pain of Behavioral and Learning Styles Through Poetry Now.”  Holding pop-up signings throughout the city her goal is to help readers uncover, understand, and uplift students, parents, and communities by addressing the root causes of emotional and academic struggles. The book was inspired from her personal experiences navigating her daughter’s education journey.  With diverse exceptionalities, including autism, dyslexia, hearing impairments, emotional challenges, and ESL students the author has walked the walk. Her mission is to uncover the root of students’ struggles, foster understanding, and uplift their voices in ways that promote both healing and academic growth.
