Just in time for some summer fun, promoter, travel agent and actor Mike Bend held his inaugural ‘Lovers Unplugged,’ weekend excursion in the Caribbean’s St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. More than 50 guests flew in from Duval and Atlanta for a weekend of fun in the sun to participate in the agendas following events: welcome block party, beach luau and the fiesta at sea yacht party. Lovers Unplugged is a creation of We Travel Agency, a destination travel concierge service that creates unforgettable experience getaways in St. Thomas, V.I. The island doesn’t require a passport, and guests are whisked off to serene beaches, live entertainment venues, delicious food and meeting new friends.
Organizer/event planner, Mike Bend is a 1996 graduate of Raines High School, DJ, promoter and actor that has appeared in the TV Show The Johnsons. Bend continues to utilize his vision to promote unity with DJ’s in the Jacksonville and Atlanta perimeters. Each DJ had the opportunity to pump up the volume at the selected parties and received exposure to an entertaining escape. Local Duval DJ Genedot promoted the event on his radio show and while on the island showcased the fun in the sun event through his social media entities. Guests returned to Jax, eagerly awaiting next year’s tour. “Wow this was amazing.
