Wilder Park Seniors Celebrate Motherhood with Fellowship

The Wilder Park Senior Citizens Club of Jacksonville celebrated mothers of all ages not one day but each and every month.  Their most recent celebration included a brunch at the Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church.  Accented by the color purple with a touch yellow, their most recent meeting included information about the many services available to them free form the city.  their agenda included everything from bill assistance and fellowship to weekly water aerobics just for seniors.

the club has been in existence since 1942 and serves seniors 60 and over with various activities during the year. Taking pleasure to the next level in their senior years, the members enjoy travel by taking trips, cruises, and day excursion to surrounding areas.  This years trips planned are to New York, Charleston and Savannah.

If you are interested in joining the Wilder Park Senior Citizens Club, the club meets at the Mary Singleton Center auditorium at 1 pm on the third Wednesday of the month except June, July, and August when the club travels. All seniors are welcome.
