Appalachian Outreach Effort is One of Nation’s Oldest Holiday Traditions
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – CSX employees will gather at Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center on Friday, Nov. 8, cultivating holiday cheer as they pack toys, handouts, gift bags and winter accessories to be delivered to thousands of Appalachian families during the running of the 82nd annual CSX Santa Train.
This packing party event kicks off the CSX Santa Train festivities in preparation for its 13-stop journey through Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee to deliver more than 15 tons of Christmas gifts to families along the 110-mile route.
