The 2024 Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair presents a new midway for fairgoers as it partners for the first time with Deggeller Attractions, Inc.

Established in 1957, Deggeller is one of the nation’s premier midways and is known for its spectacular assortment of amusement rides, keen sense of quality and detail, midway beautification and an emphasis on safety. It is the ride company used by major events such as the Maryland State Fair, State Fair of Virginia and Salem Fair and local events such as the Clay County Fair.

Deggeller is accredited by the Outdoor Amusement Business Association and has held the OABA’s Circle of Excellence designation since 2004. Accreditation denotes adherence to a number of standards set by the association that cover operations, training, food and ride safety, staff accommodations, professional appearance and more.

“We are always looking for ways to improve the fair experience for fairgoers. A highlight for many is the rides and games. We had an opportunity to bring in a new midway vendor, and Deggeller is one of the best,” said Bill Olson, CEO and President of the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair. “The Fair is ushering in a modern vision and new era, and Deggeller is part of this transition.”

At the 2024 event, rides will include thrilling favorites and a few new fun experiences, including the Cliffhanger, Hydra, the Giant Wheel, and Wave Swinger.

Advance purchase of discounted single admission tickets and the popular $25 Mega Pass, a combination ticket that includes a single gate admission AND unlimited rides, are available only at jacksonvillefair.com until midnight, November 6. Advance single admission ticket pricing is $9 for adults (reg. price $15), $4 for children ages 6-12 (reg. price $6) and $4 for Seniors ages 65 & up (reg. price $6). Children ages 5 and under are always granted free admission.

Regular admission tickets can be purchased at the fairgrounds ticketing gates during the fair November 7-17. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-12, and $6 for seniors ages 65 and up. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free.
