D.W. Perkins Bar Association Swears in President Elect

The D.W. Perkins Bar Association held its officer swearing in ceremony during their monthly luncheon.  Held at the Doubletree on the Southbank, Assistant State Attorney Marcus L. Isom Jr. was sworn in by County Court Judge Mose Floyd as the 2022-2023 President elect for the bar association. Current president is Attorney Jakela Rivers.  The Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association, has been in existence uniting lawyers of color since 1968.  It is named in honor of Jacksonville trailblazing attorney, D.W.
