Eleven Tom Coughlin Jay Fund families tackling childhood cancer were surprised with a grocery store shopping spree at the College Park Winn-Dixie, located at 999 University Blvd. N. Winn-Dixie, together with the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation, provided more than $15,000 worth of groceries to the local families attending the shopping spree, allowing them to fill up two carts with any groceries they needed. For families tackling childhood cancer, their days are often consumed with trips to and from the hospital, and taking time out of their day to go grocery shopping can be challenging. To accommodate these families, THE PLAYERS Championship donated $300 Winn-Dixie gift cards to these families and 20 additional families who are unable to join the shopping spree.
