JEA volunteers brought joy to more than 135 senior adults recently at the Mary Singleton Senior Center in Springfield. JEA partnered with the City of Jacksonville Senior Services Division to organize a “Senior Self Care Day” to show our senior community members how much we care.
The seniors enjoyed music, dancing, activities and even a selfie booth during the day-long event. The guests also received “grab-and-go” bags of prepared food courtesy of Catholic Charities and Feeding Northeast Florida.
JEA volunteers are engaged with our community throughout the year to improve lives and build community in Northeast Florida. In fiscal year 2023, JEA volunteers have provided an estimated 4,000+ hours of service to Northeast Florida community organizations and nonprofits.
