This year the 6th annual Le Dîner en Blanc Jacksonville was feted with a City of Jacksonville resolution honoring the event for bringing ‘Culture, Unity, & Magic’ to the City of Jacksonville. Six-hundred people gathered to creatively celebrate this year’s ‘Blooming Elegance’ theme where the location was revealed as Memorial Park Riverside.

Known for their white attire, attendees line up and march into the event in unison, reminiscent of a New Orleans musical precession. They also bring white coordinated baskets of tapas, spirits and party favors to their assigned table location. “This was my first-year attending. I’m impressed with the affair’s secretive location. It’s fun to keep us guessing right up to start time, then we’re ready to go,” said Kelly Smith.

Le Dîner en Blanc started in Paris in 1988 and continues to break attendance records as a global phenomenon.  Each year, this all white affair increases its presence across the world with innovative themes, locations and fans!
