The annual event, held in Guyton’s Springfield home, brings guests on the last Saturday in February to share on any topic of their choice in the realm of Black History. Attendees enjoy hearing a plethora of diverse personal and more known history in addition to a potluck feast of family recipes. Now, in it’s 17th year, Guyton says she will continue the well anticipated celebration as long as attendees continue to flock to the event.
