Green Cove Springs, Florida City Council presented Cove Star Awards to citizens Hannah Westberry and Josh Hobbs. Awards were presented for assisting Green Cove Springs Police Department in swiftly apprehending the suspects of vandalism in Spring Park last year.They are the first recipients of the Cove Star Award, which is given to citizens that demonstrate “the kind of commitment, cooperation, responsibility, and respect that are crucial in maintaining a strong community.”
