The inaugural Unity Football Classic transported two powerhouse HBCUs Edward Waters University Tigers and Virginia Union University Panthers to Jacksonville for an unforgettable weekend of football, culture, and community. Hosted at Edward Waters University (EWU)  Nathanial Glover Field, EWU Tigers stunned No. 13 Virginia Union, 41-38, in the inaugural Unity Classic. This exciting event blended HBCU pride, faith-based fellowship, and family-friendly entertainment. The weekend featured pre-game celebrations, community outreach, local and national entertainers, and the big game that teamed it all together for a gametime experience, unity, energy, and tradition that only an HBCU matchup can bring. The annual event included a college fair, pep rally, luncheon, step show, battle of the bands and tailgate fest!
