The Top Teens of the Duval County Top Ladies of Distinction are doing their part for local students not just for the day, but throughout the year. The ladies non-profit organization along with their teens recently collected school supplies at two area libraries: Wesconnett and Dunn Avenue. Over $1,000 worth of supplies were collected and donated to the students attending the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, Inc. This activity was sponsored by the Community Partnerships committee and included several of the Top Teens who were able to answer questions as members of the community asked about the collection and how they could get their teens involved. The next collection of school supplies is scheduled for the beginning of the next semester in January.
