The luncheon was prepared by the Clara White Mission culinary students with entertainment from Sassy Seniors Dance Troupe, Natural Truth band and distribution of 120 gift prizes from local partners: Walmart, Dedicated Senior Medical Center, Sheps, Walgreens and Solomon stores.

“We had seniors from every community attend the luncheon,” said Pittman proudly.  The day’s agenda also included an appearance by Dr. Cynthia Smith, whose mother was one of the original 6888th Battalion military members chronicled on Tyler Perrys hit movie 6888.
