The festival will also have discounted tickets for Locals Thursdays on April 23 and April 30. Those tickets in the past have been $50, but this year’s price wasn’t clear in Thursday’s lineup announcement.
To purchase tickets online in advance, buyers will need to create an account on axs.com. Payment plans are available with a down payment of $49 for the lowest tier ticket package.
Fans can buy four-day weekend passes for either weekend. Louisiana residents will also be able to purchase discounted tickets, though at press time the festival had not yet announced the cost.
For non-Louisiana residents, four-day weekend passes are $399, and will go to $429 and then $459 at later dates. Weekend pass holders get a wristband for entrance and are not transferable and are not good for re-entry to the festival.
General Admission+ (GA+) four-day passes for either weekend include express entry gates and use of a lounge with private restrooms. The pass comes with a wristband that allows re-entry to the Fair Grounds. The passes are $659, then go to $689 then and $719 after that. GA+ wristband holders also are allowed re-entry to the festival.
There also are VIP packages.
“Big Chief VIP” passes — which allow pass holders access to special viewing areas, toilets, an indoor, air-conditioned lounge and other amenities — will be $2,099 for either weekend. This also includes exclusive beverage booths, raised and covered viewing stands at the major stages and bleachers in some tents, express entrance lines, and exit and re-entry privileges.
The “Grand Marshal VIP” pass offers closeup, standing-room-only space near the largest stage, the Shell Gentilly Stage and the Congo Square Stage, as well as access to a special lounge and restrooms. Passes are $1,999 for either weekend.
The “Krewe of Jazz Fest” pass, which offers access to a private raised and covered viewing area near the largest stage and other privileges, is $1,119 for either weekend. Parking and VIP shuttles are available for purchase to pass holders.
Raised, covered cabanas at the Festival and Gentilly stages are also available to rent, which can accommodate up to 35 guests. Amenities include concierge service, phone chargers, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, private air-conditioned restrooms, special catering and bar menus and four parking passes.
