Mr. John Lucius Martin, a native of De Soto, Georgia, celebrated his 101st birthday with extended family and friends completed with his children and 41 grand-children (grands and great-grands included). The entrepreneur owned a hamburger stand that serviced the local shipyard workers and community. Additionally, he worked for Goodwill, where he ultimately retired after about 40 years of service. During that time, Mr. John met and married Mrs. Serena Sarah McGriff-Martin and had five children.
