Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSJC) Downtown campus was the site of an informative and interactive forum presented by Senator Tracie Davis and Florida A & M University.
The collaborative efforts, open to the public as a part of community engagement with the University’s Medical Marijuana Education and Research Initiative, referred to as MMERI and a distinguished panel provided an opportunity for the community to become better educated and learn, in an interactive environment and talk about cannabis with Floridians across the state.
The goal is to establish a trusted source of information and education about the state’s current cannabis laws and ultimately the impact on economic development and any related future legislation. The Initiative attempts to connect populations through activities, build and expand relationships and partnerships while collaborating with leaders, community groups, faith-based organizations, educational institutions and others.
