To recognize National Estate Planning Week (Oct. 20 – 26),Wealth Watchers Inc., partnered  with LISC Jacksonville and Three Rivers Legal Services to ensure individual families have the tools necessary to create an estate plan and knowledge to guard their assets.

Onsite was NFL player Larentee McCray sharing his legacy building experience, “we want families to grab the ball, head to the end zone and empower their loved ones,” he said.

Podcaster Jason Brown, the creator of The Legacy Deck, a card game designed to help families talk about life, love, money, faith, spoke to attendees on preparation of estate planning before a financial tragedy forces them to. Experts equipped participants with a legacy playbook that includes details about wills, powers of attorney, living wills, Lady Bird deeds and much more. The goal was to provide strategies that will help them keep their homes and land safe from generation to generation.

The event helped attendees be better prepared to achieve long term financial health, protect their homes and secure their family’s future wealth while gaining valuable connections and insights.  “We want residents to know that estate planning is not just for the wealthy. It is for every family that wants to leave a legacy.” said Carrie Davis, Wealth Watchers CEO. Shown is Jason Brown spreading financial Legacy Deck knowledge.
