
KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools, a non-profit network of college-preparatory public charter schools educating elementary, middle and high school students, recently celebrated its first graduating senior class from Bold City High School located on the Westside. Highlighting this milestone, every senior who applied to college received a notification of acceptance.
The first graduating class of 60 seniors were celebrated during the commencement marking the success of Kipp Jacksonville’s efforts in creating a solid kindergarten through 12th grade pathway for students to thrive.
Currently KIPP has over 3,000 students enrolled across its four campuses in North and West Jacksonville. The school launched in 2010 with 90 fifth grade students and opened its door to Bold City High School in fall 2021 with 121 ninth grade students. Along with support through workshops, individual college and career advisory meetings, seminar classes and counseling beginning at the ninth grade level. In addition, the National KIPP Alumni Network, KIPP family has created powerful network with mentorship, leadership training and more following graduation.
