City Councilpersons and the Law office of Fasig and Brooks were in the giving mood for their Christmas giveaway held inside Annie Lees Bakery near 48th and Main St. Youth from the Northshore Boys and Girls Club were recipients of 100 gifts!  Gifts consisted of board games, crayons/coloring books, and the new poppet’s fidget toys. Participants were entertained with bouncy houses, food, a DJ and a chance to meet Santa Claus to see if you are on the good or bad list.

“We care about the community. We care about the people we serve and help out the most,” said Jim Fasig. One tragedy that caused a mishap during the holidays was the unexpected house fire of the Bush family. The family of twelve recently lost their home near Andress and Drayton streets after a fire. Having heard of the mishap, the Bushes were invited to the giveaway and was gifted a $500 Gift card.
