 

The Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters (Florida District) of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. convened in Jacksonville, Florida, October 16–19, 2025, for the 65th Florida District Conference, held under the theme “Stronger Together: Driven by Brotherhood.” The four-day event brought together hundreds of Brothers from across the state of Florida and the Caribbean areas of Puerto Rico, theBahamas Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Haiti, Panama, and the Dominican Republic, exemplifying unity and the global reach of Alpha.

Throughout the conference, Brothers participated in professional development workshops, business sessions, and meaningful fellowship. The schedule also featured a community service initiative at Gregory Drive Elementary School, where Brothers read to students in various classrooms; the Miss Old Gold & Black Scholarship Pageant, showcasing the talent, poise, and intellect of collegiate contestants; the District Step Show, where collegiate chapters demonstrated their creativity and precision; and the Alpha Awards & Recognition Breakfast, honoring Brothers for their leadership, academic excellence, and service within their chapters and throughout the District. Under the leadership of District Director Brother Christopher Polke and Assistant District Director Brother Theodore Johnson, the 65th Florida District Conference strengthened the bonds of brotherhood and reaffirmed the district’s enduring commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service.
