First Coast No More Homeless Pets to Do Free Spay and Neutering for Large Dogs

First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) has begun The Big Fix II providing free spay or neuter surgeries for Northeast Florida dogs who are or expected to be 40 pounds and greater. FCNMHP hosted the first Big Fix in November of 2015 and fixed over 500 First Coast dogs.

“The Big Fix II event will provide families, many whom are unable to afford veterinary care, the opportunity to receive the surgery for their dogs. We are focusing on this population because the majority of dogs entering and languishing in shelters are large dogs,” said Rick DuCharme, FCNMHP’s Founder and Executive Director.

The Big Fix II is open to the public and expected to assist 500 dogs. To schedule an appointment for surgery, please call (904) 425-0005 or go online to fcnmhp.org.
