When The Rabbis Came To Town, stage performance at Jacksonville’s WJCT soundstage, Thursday, August 20th at 7 p.m., preceded by a 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. VIP  hosted by the St. Augustine Film Society and the Heartland Independent Film and Drama Forum. Returning to Florida with Rabbi Allen Secher, one of the two survivors of the group of 16 rabbis arrested at the Monson Motor Lodge June 18,  1964.  This was the largest arrest of rabbis in American history.  That protest helped lead to  Senate passage of the Civil Rights Act a day later.
