JEA and BEAM will co-host Senior Day at the Beaches

JEA and BEAM will co-host Senior Day at the Beaches on Thursday, a free resource fair designed to connect seniors and caregivers with local agencies, programs, and services in one convenient location.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Road.

Attendees will be able to speak directly with community partners about resources related to health programs, transportation, aging services, utility efficiency, social services, 2-1-1, heirs’ property, library services, and other senior-focused support.

This event builds on JEA’s existing Senior Day program by bringing resources closer to the Beaches community. JEA will also continue hosting its regular Senior Day at JEA headquarters on June 17.

Please note customers seeking bill relief must make an appointment through United Way 2-1-1.
