Family Foundations of Northeast Florida, Inc. hosted their inaugural three-day ‘Paving the Way Forward Economic Mobility Summit,’ earlier this month. Across three distinct days, the summit reached over 250 individuals within the Jacksonville community, providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to achieve self-empowerment, financial stability, and generational wealth. The summits agenda included a faith-based leadership luncheon, partner gathering, and community expo. “The Paving the Way Forward Economic Mobility Summit brought together a distinctive collaboration of thought leaders, experts and practitioners pioneering wealth-building initiatives,” said Barbara “BJ” Beaman, Financial Wellness Manager with Family Foundations.  The Faith-Based Leadership Luncheon engaged 121 faith-based leaders, and the Partner Gathering involved 81 community organizations, connecting them with tools and resources for self-empowerment and member support. The Community Expo reached over 150 individuals and families and showcased over 30 sponsors, nonprofit organizations, and small business vendors, featured seventeen expert speakers, hosted sixteen informative sessions, presented three scholarships and fostered strong connections between resources and community members.
