The 19th DONNA Marathon Weekend concluded last Sunday with more than 9,700 runners participating at events across the First Coast. Athletes from all 50 states and 11 countries laced up for multiple competitive race events. 95 participants logged 15,641 miles over the course of four months as part of annual 110-Mile-A-Day Challenge and virtual events. Celebrating survivorship, remembrance and the hope that comes with choosing love over fear, participants raised nearly $250,000 in support of The DONNA Foundation’s critical programs, surpassing the organization’s goal. Fundraising will continue through February 28. Proceeds from DONNA Marathon Weekend provide hope, support and financial relief to those living with breast cancer, both local to Jacksonville and across the country.
