Delta’s Honor Acclaimed Poet Nikki Giovanni

Noted poet Nikki Giovanni visited Jacksonville with an invitation by Duval County Schools to be the Keynote Speaker for Delta Sigma Theta’s Professional Development Literacy Expo on July 16th. The theme for the event was, A World of Poetry: Lunch with Nikki Giovanni, was held at the Cummer Museum of Arts & Gardens. The sorority’s alumni Chapter President Veronica Tutt presented her soror with a love token on behalf of the local chapter.
