Seventh annual conference will be August 19-20
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (August 13, 2020) – This year’s JAX Chamber IT Council Tech Coast Conference will include a focus on challenges that businesses, technology departments and professionals are facing as more work is being done remotely.
The two-day event will be virtual and feature nationally-recognized speakers on topics including the future of work, how to stay secure remotely and the network impact of working from outside of the traditional office.
“We pride ourselves on providing a forum for professionals to hear the latest in technology and trends from industry leaders and, let’s face it, these are the issues all of us are dealing with right now,” said JAX Chamber IT Council President Wendy Norfleet.
Keynote topics and speakers include:
“This is a prime example of our IT Council assessing what’s going on in their industries and finding a way to bring solutions to our community,” JAX Chamber President and CEO Daniel Davis said.
The IT Council and the Northeast Florida CIO Council will also each award a technology scholarship to students and the virtual Happy Hour after Wednesday’s session will include a contest with various prizes, including gift cards and tech accessories.
