FMU President In Jax for Meet & Greet – Calling all Florida Memorial University former graduates and alumni to make a big Lions roar on Thursday, April 14th to meet and greet the New President Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis. The call is to reorganize the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter. Florida Memorial University is the oldest academic center in Florida, the university was founded in 1879 as the Florida Baptist Institute in Live Oak, Florida. Florida Memorial University is now a private coeducational four-year university located in Miami Gardens, Florida.
