Charles Foster Spencer Speaker at Beaches Democratic Club

Charles Foster Spencer, a much honored African-American business, labor and civil rights activist, who for decades has been on the front lines of local and state civil rights efforts, will share his experiences and insights at Tuesday, February 16, at the Beaches Democratic Club meeting at the Neptune Beach Senior Activity Center, 2004 Forest Ave.  A social at 6:30 p.m. will proceed the 7 p.m. meeting with a focus on Black History Month. Spencer is International Vice President and Executive Vice President of the South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District of the International Longshoreman’s Association and Vice President of the Florida AFL-CIO.  He currently serves as President of the Florida State Chapter of the A.
