American Beach Exhibit – American Beach: A Moment in Time Exhibit at the Ritz Museum, 820 N. Davis St. In 1935, Abraham Lincoln Lewis, president of the Afro-American Life Insurance Company, initiated the purchase of the one hundred twenty acres.
